The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development led by the honorable Minister, Sunday Dare in its partnership with Google to train Nigerian Youths has set up the date for Batch B.
Therefore, In line with the Governments Economic Recovery Initiatives, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development is running a partnership with Google to train 500,000 Youth SMB’s in Nigeria.
According to Mrs. Oluwakemi Ann-Melody Areola who happens to be the Special Assistant on ICT and Corporate Relations to the Minister. In her post on her Twitter page, the ministry is set to commence the second batch (Batch B) of training. She said “Google training via the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports commences next week Monday January 11th, 2021.”
You will recall that the first batch of training (Batch A) was conducted in December 7th through 11th, 2020 by an agency by name ‘MindThe_GapNg’.
Where will the Training Take Place?
For those who don’t know where the training would be taking place but want to participate. It is my pleasure to let you know that the training would take place on YouTube through the YouTube Channel of MindThe_GapNg, just like the previous batch.
Therefore, to participate, go to YouTube, search for MindThe_GapNg. Also subscribe to the channel, don’t forget you need to be in a training session for up to 50minutes to qualify for a training certificate.
Is The Training for NYIF?
According to Mrs. Oluwakemi Ann-Melody Areola the Special Assistant on ICT and Corporate Relations to the Minister, the FMYS partnership training with Google on Digital Skills is not training for National Youth Investment Fund (NYIF). Therefore, the National Youth Investment Fund will communicate participants on their days of training when the moment arrives.
